New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Last night, Zac Brown Band was named Best New Artist at the 44th CMA Awards. "We want to thank all our fans for their incredible support. We couldn't do any of this without you," said Zac Brown, front man of Zac Brown Band about their Best New Artist win. "We understand that times are tough, so we're especially appreciative that so many of you continue to support our music."

This is the second award bestowed upon the Zac Brown Band this year, following their win as Best New Artist at the 52nd Annual GRAMMY Awards in February.

Zac Brown Band also performed their No 1 hit "As She's Walking Away" featuring Alan Jackson on the awards show, which aired on ABC. The song is the first No 1 single from 'You Get What You Give,' the band's follow-up to the double-platinum debut 'The Foundation,' out now from Atlantic/ Southern Ground Artists, Inc.
