New York, NY (Top40 Charts/
Roger Sanchez Official Website) - World-renowned superstar DJ and party icon
Roger Sanchez and
Sidney Samson, an Ibiza club staple from The Netherlands, are teaming up for The Return Of House Tour this November. Together they'll tour North
America with a wide-ranging selection of house tracks in tow.
The Return of House tour kicked off November 10 in Edmonton then making its way along the West Coast with stops in San Francisco, Vancouver, San Diego and Los Angeles, with a November 13 show at the city's Henry Fonda Theater. The tour continues at Provacateur in New York City November 18 and will also stop in Miami and Orlando before joining Paul Oakenfold's 'Facelift Tour' for shows in Chicago, New York, Montreal and Toronto that will also feature Chuckie and Nervo (see below for full tour dates).
While on tour, fans can check out Sanchez's new single '2Gether' featuring Far East Movement, set for a November 16 release on Ultra Records. The track will also be released on Far East Movement's upcoming album for Interscope and the full single pack will include remixes by Muzzaik, Blacktron, and Roger Sanchez's 'Return Of House' tour mate Sidney Samson. There's also the Maroon 5 featuring Roger Sanchez track 'Give A Little More' in the mix from the Grammy Award-winning producer and founder of Stealth Records-one of the most recognizable imprints in the house music scene-and who's also an enormous draw on the European club circuit and festival scene.
DJing first in the R&B/hip-hop realm since 1995 and evolving into house music in 1999, The Netherlands' Sidney Samson has had quite a remarkable career in music. From his first real club-banger 'Sidney Samson-It's All Funked Up!' (Spinnin' Records 2003) to his biggest dance floor scorcher to date 'Riverside' (which hit charts worldwide and went platinum in Australia, receiving support from the likes of David Guetta, Laidback Luke, Diplo, A-Trak, Tiga and Boyz Noize). One will also find many of Sidney Samson's remix productions rocking dance floors on the 'Return Of House' tour-Samson's first major trek of the continent-including Kylie Minogue's 'Get Outta My Way,' Guetta's 'Getting Over You' and 'Commander,' Solveig's 'Hello' and Dead Prez's 'Hip Hop,' just to name a few. Samson's The Punkass EP and club hit 'Shut Up And Let It Go' featuring Lady B is making waves now.
