New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ DJ Shadow Official Website) - From his pivotal first full-length Endtroducing... in 1999 to The 4-Track Era Collection volumes and more recent Cut Chemist collaborations, DJ Shadow has continued to maintain his status as living legend in instrumental hip hop. While he's increasingly shied away from music press and traditional forms of social networking, he lends his visage and several mixes to DJ Hero, and has his own (free) iPhone app, to which fans are encouraged to upload photos from his current tour, "Live From the Stratosphere." He returns to Irving Plaza on Monday, November 15th. 'Wonder how many attendees would have seen the '97 show with Jeru at Tramp's...I'm guessing not many,' he says. 'But that's ...the fascinating aspect of playing New York, it's like catching snapshots of an environment in constant flux. I'm hoping you'll come out to capture your own images of this show, before it, too, changes.'
