 Nashville, TN (Top40 Charts/ AristoMedia) - The polls for the second annual CRB-Country Aircheck Awards are now open at www.crbawards.com. Through Dec. 10, visitors may nominate individuals, radio stations and companies in the Country radio and music industries for the awards. Final round balloting begins Jan. 3. The CRB-Country Aircheck Awards are broken into 28 different categories and are presented during the CRS 2011 New Faces Show on March 4, 2011, in the Nashville Convention Center. About the CRB-Country Aircheck Awards: There are 21 total Radio Awards to be given, broken into four market classes: Major (1-25), Large (26-50), Medium (51-100) and Small (101+). Awards for each market recognize outstanding achievement in the Station, Market Manager/General Manager, Operations Manager/Program Director, Music Director and Air Personality/Show categories. There will be one National/Syndicated Personality award presented. There are five Record Label Awards. A Platinum award will be given to a label with co-owned distribution, and a Gold award will be given to a label with external distribution. In addition, there will be VP/Promotion, National Director/Promotion and Regional Director or Manager/Promotion awards. Additionally, one Independent Promotion Team/Promotion Executive award will be presented. A discretionary New Face of Country Professional award will be given to an emerging professional who has made a specific impact in the Country radio or Country music industry in the previous 12 months.
