Los Angeles, CA (Top40 Charts/ American Rebel PR) - Jackie Jackson, former member of the legendary Jackson 5 and oldest brother to music icon Michael Jackson, released his new single, "We Know What's Going On," through his label, Siggy Music. Starting today, U.S. fans can purchase the single through iTunes.

The single is Jackson's first solo release since the 1989 release of his album, Be The One. Jackson co-wrote and produced the track with British Grammy-nominated songwriter and producer, Steve DuBerry. The dance tune features Jackson's soulful voice over up-tempo beats with lyrics encouraging unity and the end of hatred. Furthering this notion, the song features an excerpt from a speech Jackson's late brother, Michael, gave in 2002, in which he says:

"Together we can change the world, / Together we can help to stop racism. / Together we can help to stop prejudice. / We can help the world live without fear."

Outside the U.S., fans can expect to hear different remixes of the song as well as features by local artists. Jackson will appear on The Oprah Winfrey Show on November 4th to promote the single.

Overall, The Jackson 5 has sold over 150 million records and are Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees. In 1973, Jackson was the first of The Jackson 5 to release his own solo album, Jackie Jackson. In 1976, The Jackson 5 signed with CBS/Epic Records, changing their name from The Jackson 5 to The Jacksons, where they recorded 7 more albums, followed by the famed Victory World Tour in 1984. In 2009, Jackson Executive Produced The Jacksons: A Family Dynasty on the A&E Network. Jackie is actively involved in keeping his brother's musical and humanitarian legacies alive through various endeavors, which include the upcoming posthumous Michael Jackson album and the highly-anticipated Michael Jackson/Cirque du Soleil show in Las Vegas.
