New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - From November 1 to 16, NPR Music will stream songs from Bruce Springsteen's new 2-CD set 'The Promise (The Lost Sessions: Darkness On The Edge of Town).' Songs include superb alternate renditions of 'Racing In The Street,' and 'Candy's Room,' Springsteen's own versions of hits he penned for others including 'Because The Night' and 'Fire,' as well as never-before-heard songs from the 'Darkness' sessions with the E Street Band.

On November 16 two new Bruce Springsteen releases will become available from Columbia Records. The first is 'The Promise' the 2-CD set with 21 never-before-released tracks from the 'Darkness' sessions. The second 'The Promise: The Darkness On The Edge of Town Story' is a six-disc deluxe package (three CDs and three DVDs) featuring internationally celebrated documentary 'The Promise: The Making Of Darkness on the Edge of Town.'
