Washington, DC (Top40 Charts/ CounterPoint) - CounterPoint, an exciting new chamber orchestra, is making its debut performance at the Pakistan Embassy, 3517 International Court, Washington DC, October 27th at 6PM. CounterPoint and Walkabout Development Solutions International (WDSI) and the Pakistan American Business Association are co-sponsoring a fundraiser for the flood victims in Pakistan. This event will be the first fundraiser at the embassy. The concert is open to the public with a donation of $100.

"CounterPoint is pleased to offer this concert in support of the flood victims in Pakistan. As a diverse group of American musicians, we are also voicing our unequivocal support of people in need no matter what their religion or ethnicity. Rather than raising our voices and adding to global friction, we are playing powerful music that touches many cultures and brings us together in hopes that people will commit themselves to helping those in need and rejoice with us in the beauty and diversity in this our only world," said Dr. Bernstein, Chairman of the Board of CounterPoint.

CounterPoint

By incorporating the latest in communication and recording technologies, they will strive to be known to and captivate diverse audiences around the world.

CounterPoint is comprised of Washington, DC-area professional musicians who regularly perform with the National Symphony, Baltimore Symphony, Washington National Opera, President's Own Marine Band, and Alexandria Symphony,
