NEW YORK (Evenescence Fans Website) - The departure of Evanescence guitarist and co-founder Ben Moody appears to be permanent. Singer Amy Lee told reporters at the American Music Awards Sunday night that the band was currently writing new material without Moody. All of Evanescence's earlier material was cowritten by Lee and Moody.
A number of replacements have been rumoured to fill Moody's place - including former Limp Bizkit guitarist Wes Borland, Shaun Morgan of Seether, and Terry Balsamo of Cold.
