Style DJs and Prot�g� Magazine will welcome the Idol
Music Group/Universal Republic recording artist to Richmond Virginia to exclusively debut his Mix CD 'Characters Welcome' along with introducing his first women's fragrance and brand new single 'Black Dress' on Saturday, October 2, 2010. The new single features recording artist and multi-award winning Broadway Star Chester Gregory from the musical stage play 'Dreamgirls'. Fans in the Delaware, Maryland and Virginia area can also tune in that morning to WRIR 97.3 FM at 9:00am to hear an exclusive radio interview with ETCETERA about the Kim Kardashian inspired single and fragrance 'Black Dress'.
After the radio interview, ETCETERA will be on-site at Perfume Palace, Chesterfield Town Center Mall from 12:00-1:30 pm and Perfume Paradise, Short Pump Town Center Mall from 2:00-3:30pm to give away 100 free samples of the brand new single and women's fragrance. Following will be a live stage performance by ETCETERA and his celebrity guests at 'The Storm Watch Cancer Awareness Concert & Showcase' at Club 534, 534 North Harrison Street, Richmond Virginia from 3:00-7:00 pm.
Earlier this summer, ETCETERA released his mix CD 'Characters Welcome' with the assistance of new producer J Velvet of Around One Media, Christina Prince of Virgin Records and Power 105.1 premiere personality DJ Chuck Dogg. The mix CD was a collaboration and compilation of remixed songs. Songs like 'Back Up' by Beyonce feat. ETCETERA, 'Battle Cry' by Shontelle feat. ETCETERA, 'Renegade' by ETCETERA feat. Sonjya Blade, 'According To You' by Orianthi feat. ETCETERA, these are just to name a few.
So far the mix CD is doing well and has received 10,000 downloads since its release date of July 18, 2010. My Style DJ's have reported it to be the 3rd most downloaded mix CD in Atlanta, Carolina and Virginia. To add to his increasing list of accomplishments, ETCETERA recently signed a booking agreement deal with Los Angeles based Premiere Booking Agency, adding him to the new roster of artists like Lil Kim, DeBarge, Joonie, Andrew DeBarge, these are just to name a few.
