New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Chuck Brown, the "godfather of the go go sound" (USA Today), recently took over NPR Tiny Desk concert series with his 12-person band, playing a raucous set that was attended by over 100 staffers. Brown played old hits as well as some tracks from 'We Got This,' out now on Raw Venture, his new 3-disc set (live CD/DVD, 5-song disc of new material).

Tune in to 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' tonight to see Brown sit in with The Roots. Tomorrow night he'll perform with his own band at BB King Blues Club in NYC.

'We Got This' has been receiving praise from critics, here's what we've been hearing:

'Still knows how to get a party started.'
-Billboard

'It only takes two words for the go-go inventor to inject sex, Southernness, and a one-of-a-kind personality into yet another dance-party song.'
-Washington City Paper

'Reinvigorates the style...imbues go-go with swinging jazz overtones and grit from the blues.'
-Jet

'Kinetic and infectious.'
-Washington Post Express

'The go-go legend brings that D.C. sound.'
-OkayPlayer
