MONACO (World Music Awards Website) - As expected, 50 Cent cleaned up at Sunday Night's World Music Awards in Monaco. The rapper took home five trophies including best selling artist at the ceremony, which bases its nominations on sales not voting.
Pink, Eminem, Justin Timberlake and t.A.T.u. also took home awards based on the success of their latest albums. Mariah Carey was also presented with a diamond award for selling over 150 million albums worldwide.
50 Cent's five awards included best-selling pop male artist, best selling hip-hop act, best-selling R&B act and best selling new artist.
