NEW YORK (CMJ Music Festival press announcement/Andrew WK Official Website) - Party rocker Andrew W.K. has announced he will play a special show at Warsaw, in Brooklyn, New York, as part of this year's CMJ Music Festival, on Friday, October 24. Andrew will share the stage with female rock icon Joan Jett and actress Juliette Lewis, star of Natural Born Killers, who will be making her first New York appearance with a band.

In related Andrew W.K.'s news, his second album, the Wolf, arrived in stores on September 9. In addition to touring in support of the record, Andrew continues to personally call hundreds of fans and thank them for purchasing the album. Andrew is scheduled to begin a co-headlining tour with Hoobastank in early November. He'll also make a November 14 appearance on Late Night With Conan O'Brien.
