The three day event starts with Symphony no. 1 (Titan) on July 5 on Monday Night at the Symphony and continues with Symphony no. 5 on July 6. The conclusion coincides with his birthday, July 7, and a performance of Symphony no. 9. 'The music of Gustav Mahler is an acquired taste,' says Woltz.
