NY (Top40 Charts) -Dave Navarro and Medeski, Martin & Wood drummer Billy Martin have been confirmed as the featured speakers for this year's CMJ Music Marathon in New York Sept. 13-16.

The Jane's Addiction guitarist/former Red Hot Chili Pepper will speak during the day on Sept. 14, while Martin is scheduled for a one-on-one interview panel with journalist Mitch Myers on Sept. 15. The exact times are not known yet.
Also confirmed for CMJ is a long list of performers, which includes Coldplay, Gorilllaz, Ben Folds, Faithless, and others.

In other Navarro news, he recently announced a 12-date solo tour in support of Trust No One to precede the planned Jane's Addiction trek. Navarro's solo dates will run from Aug. 30 in Boston to Sept. 21 in Atlanta. The Jane's tour has now been pushed back even further to a tentative Oct. 2 kickoff date in Boston.
