LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Silverback Artist Management) - dPulse Recordings and Ovrtone Music Group, Inc., are pleased to announce the signing of LA-based alt rock/soul/hip-hop artists Natives of The New Dawn, as well as the forthcoming release of their dPulse debut EP The Show. Fueled by the radio single 'Big Girl'; the summer anthem 'No Trouble' and the infectious sing-along groove 'Carry Me Home', The Show is not just a record, it's a 7-track snapshot of the band's passion for their craft - and a history of obstacles overcome in pursuit of that passion. Having relocated from their native Detroit, the band immediately set out to build a fan base in Los Angeles, while also recording and producing The Show in what could be described as DIY's 'best case scenario'. The results are a stunning portrait of this rising band, who've not only crisscrossed the country on tour, but have won over radio programmers, fans and concertgoers alike. When asked about the inspiration behind the new record, Emcee Vince Mann says: "We felt The Show was a fitting title because it really defined the work. The songs revolve around a central theme of putting on a 'show'. Whether we're talking literally about performing, or the drama of our everyday lives, it's really all one big show.' The Show by Natives of The New Dawn is released on dPulse Recordings July 6, 2010, along with the single and music video 'Big Girl'.
