Sedona, AZ (Top40 Charts/ K626 Official Website) - With over 1 million page views and over 700,000 plays currently on their My Space page, thrash metal fans worldwide (already broad-sided the by the blunt force of the latest promotional video for the song " Twisted") will not be disappointed with the bands upcoming release of their heaviest sounding album to date. Mixed by producer Josh Newell (Korn, P.O.D. Motorhead) "The Gates Of Necropolis" is the fourth release for the band since 2005 and is a follow up to the bands critically acclaimed release "Seven Deadly" for such songs as "Damnation" and "Lord Of Maggots" being featured on Sirius/XM's Liquid Metal channel. "I like the way they've blended really heavy, almost death metal-ish, guitar and drum work with melodic riffs." states mixer Josh Newell. "It's a great blend, a la Pantera or Sepultura where you remember the guitar work/riffs as much as the vocal lines." The new album's upcoming August 4th release date is preceded by the video for the song "Twisted" which is already receiving national fan attention and is on point musically. Newell further states; "Too many bands are using syncopated patterns instead of writing good songs. It's so nice to hear riffs and guitar solos. I think the album sounds current without sounding dull like so many new bands do. Totally up a Machine Head/Lamb of God alley." K626 emerged on the thrash metal scene in late 2004 and soon released the E.P. "Beyond the Grave Vol 1", in 2005 followed by the E.P. "Beyond the Grave Vol 2" a year later. K626 consists of vocalist Chris "Skary" Shaw, Brent Wisdom on guitars, Justin "Cheez" Powell on Bass and Joe Downard on Drums. K626 has performed alongside some of the top known bands in the metal scene today. The name of the band comes from Mozart's unfinished requiem mass "Concerto K 626" "We all thought (the name) was original and went with it saying we would finish his song in our own way." states guitarist Brent Wisdom.
