 LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ IFPI) - Police in Hungary have seized 50 computer servers in several server hotels and at a technical college in an action against various online piracy operations. The raids, carried out on 16th June by the Budapest Police Department, followed complaints by the Hungarian Copyright Alliance and by the local film industry. A police statement said that 500 terabytes of infringing content were found on the servers, including data allegedly being used to illegally distribute thousands of copyrighted works via the largest local and international torrent sites.
