Stark Announces Uk Tour

LONDON, UK (Top40 Charts/ STARK Official Website) - STARK's CD Race To The Floor is still charging out of the gate, prompting Lani Ford to head west then take the band back to the UK before wrist surgery in July. STARK is demonstrating their relentless spirit as cool reviews and radio play have started coming in for the latest full-length CD Race To The Floor. To keep up the momentum, STARK will return to the UK for a 3rd tour June 25th-July1st, playing in Kent, Essex and London with Eric Kuby of Grande and BelAir stepping in on drums.

Lani played a solo acoustic tour in the UK in November with Lilith's Army, which led her to miss her flight and have to buy a new round trip ticket. So, what the heck, let's book some dates. STARK will play for promoters who have been supporting the band for a long time: Shakey from Shakster Records, Marc at Big Note/Hope & Anchor, Steve DIY with Street Voice UK, and new friends at Bridgehouse 2 in Canning Town and the legendary St. Anne's Castle in Great Leighs where STARK will play with Osmium Guillotine. Lani Ford just played a solo acoustic showcase in Los Angeles, CA at Genghis Cohen in West Hollywood. The morning of Tuesday June 8th, Lani appeared with Gary Garver on rockmetv.com and exscape.tv. Adult actress Joslyn James was also on the show and promises to dance to a STARK song soon!

Lani can't afford to do anything too wild as she still has to have surgery on her wrist when the band returns from the UK. During her recovery time (since she can't boogie board much to her demise), she will be finalizing plans for a Midwest U.S. tour, a return to the West Coast with the full band and maybe, dare we say it? Ok, yes...Japan!
