
New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Mongrel Official Website) - In less than two months since the departure of the former singer and drummer, Mongrel has announced the newest additions to their ranks. Rounding out the Mongrel lineup with founder/guitarist Adam Savage, and bassist Rev, are singer Scott Campbell (Graveyard BBQ), and drummer Dave Kazukiewicz (Polluted Remains).
States Savage, "Scott and Dave both did a great job at their "trial by fire" show Saturday, and we're really excited to have them on board. It's great to have a positive and enthusiastic feel in the band again, and I can't wait to see where this new lineup takes us."
Mongrel has been called "the hardest working band in Boston", by Metal Edge Magazine, opened for the Misfits, Korn, GWAR, Otep, Prong, FEAR, etc and has been receiving airplay from their Fall 2009 release, the 5 song Revenge EP on the Music Choice and Sirius/XM networks. Mongrel has also had songs included on compilations included with the recent Nikki Sixx bio "An Education in Rebellion" and an upcoming Alice In Chains biography from the same publisher.
