New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Wu International Official Website) - Maybe it's a vibe hanging in the air but it seems that not only Wu-International is looking back at the legendary Wu-nineties through our Elements series. As already reported Cilvaringz is working on releasing a special 'Heavy Mentwo' album with Killah Priest, filled with unreleased tracks and different versions from the stellar 'Heavy Mental' recording sessions. Wu fans all around the world are salivating over this and expressing their enthusiasm ... thus sparking a possible second project ...
Ringz himself has also been toying with the idea of releasing a follow up to his highly sort after "Mental Chamber: Sequel
and in addition to that has been building with 4th about the 'Heavy Mentwo'- initiative and suggested doing something likewise for 4th Disciple. Apparently 4th Disciple has quite an interesting vault from that period according to Ringz: 'I personally have visited 4th a couple of times in Ohio at his studio and heard incredible music made by him. From the 2 albums he recorded with Shogun Assasson to Black Knights, Black Brigade, One Man, Raw Intellect, The Orphanage, 12 O'Clock's "Get Some Hate" and of course the infamous Sunz Of Man and Killah Priest songs. In addition, 4th now had a compilation called THE RESISTANCE which features songs recorded over a variety of time periods and had guest appearances from Hell Razah, U-God, RZA, Hoffa, Killah Priest, Trife, Solomon Childs, KrimeLife and even Jim Jones. '
4th on the other hand wonders if people would be interested enough in this project to guarantee enough sales and hence make this interesting enough to pursue. Therefore Ringz is thinking about making this a limited release, based on pre-orders. Same as with the Killah Priest project, and has set up a poll on Corp to feel the water so to speak. 4th Disciple will be following the vote and reactions the next days ...
Therefore, Wu-international wants to ask all lifelong Wu-~Tang fans, Killarmy soldiers, to go to this poll and vote so enable this project to come to life. Show these unique projects the support they deserve ... if successful, this might be the start of an amazing series of releases from the Wu-archives!
Like Cilvaringz stated: 'If you are a true fan who would like to have these gems then I ask you to show your support and vote. Please share your thoughts as well, just keep it respectful. These projects can now only come to life with the support of us, the true Wu-Tang fans. It's a hefty price for some, but guaranteed quality. Remember, any artist needs to eat.'
