New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ American Idol Fans Website) - Janet Jackson's American Idol performance became another number-one hit for the pop queen. According to iTunes, Jackson's performance video shot to the top of its video chart last week, toppling Lady Gaga, Beyonce, Usher and Miley Cyrus.

Filming a short video over the weekend, Jackson thanked fans for making her performance on American Idol the number-one selling music video on iTunes.

"I just want to thank all of you for making my performance on American Idol number one on iTunes," Jackson said. "That is so cool, it's really special. Thank you to all of you for making it happen and I couldn't have done it without you."

As previously reported, Janet Jackson made a surprise appearance on American Idol's finale Wednesday, performing a medley of hits including "Again" and "Nasty".

Jackson is no stranger to number-one hits, her greatest hits album "Number Ones" was released earlier this year featuring 34 number-one hits, including the recent single "Make Me," as well as "Control," "If," and "Rhythm Nation".
