Kosut dons 'two hats' for this series -producer and performer. As producer, she has invited other performers to debut at the Rrazz Room - from New York, Seattle and San Francisco. As performer, she will perform as well, sharing the stage with her invited guests.
'When Natives Get Restless' is a jazzy, swingin' show of songs that both lament and say hoorah to moving coast to coast. Linda, born and bred in New York, moved to San Francisco 24 years ago. Nancy, born and bred in California, moved to New York a year ago. In music, Linda and Nancy will 'share' the many different aspects of leaving one 'home' for another.
The John Simon Band with John Simon, piano; Tom Shader, bass; Tony Malfatti, horns; Alan Hall, drums.

ABOUT NANCY TIERNEY
Nancy is a jazz-centric pop singer who loves to take songs from "back in the day" and kick them up with contemporary jazz arrangements.
She not only performs those great, timeless songs of the 30's, 40's and 50's, as well as songs written for musical theater, but she has added songs of the great songwriters of more current generations such as Joni Mitchell, Billy Joel, John, Paul, George and Ringo, and more recently, John Mayer.
With this kind of wild mix of songs spanning 15 decades in her creative toolbox, she weaves both song and story into theme-driven shows with the intention of entertaining and uplifting anyone within earshot.
"A truly wonderful performer... A performance by Nancy is an experience of the senses. She draws you into the show, not only because of the quality of her talent, but her stage presence pulls you in and keeps you completely entertained and captivated." - Ted Williams, KJZY/KZST Radio.
