MIAMI, FL. (Top40 Charts/ Miami Music Festival) - The Miami Music Festival has announced their initial slate of panels for the Artist Conference, covering a wide array of topics of interest to working professionals in the music industry, including digital issues, marketing, copyright, funding, licensing, recording, and more. MMF partner Urban Network will present four panels: The Digital Revolution, Gospel Music, How to Promote & Market Your Music, and the HIP HOP Power Panel.

'Today's music industry presents tough challenges for artists and professionals alike,' said Irwin Kornfeld, Miami Music Festival CEO. 'I hope that by bringing together experts from all areas of the business - from recording to live performance; from building a fan base to turning that into financing - will give all those that attend the Miami Music Festival a real leg up in their career.'

The MMF Artist Conference events will take place during the day on November 12 and 13 at the Hyatt Regency Miami. A full list of all 18 panels can be found at https://www.miamimusicfestival.org/conference-schedule.php. Keynote speakers will be announced at a later date. If you are interested in speaking on a panel, contact Serona Elton at [email protected]. Sponsorship opportunities are also available; please contact Ellen Miller at [email protected].

The second annual Miami Music Festival will present more than 500 performances by new and developing artists throughout the city November 12-14 during the newly designated 'Live Music Month in Miami,' including two daytime sessions on five stages in Bayfront Park and a show at the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts. The inaugural MMF in December 2009 attracted more than 18,000 attendees to see 270 acts in 75 shows on 25 stages.

MMF partners include Miami New Times, The State of Florida Film & Entertainment Office, Miami-Dade County Office of Cultural Affairs, The City of Miami Office of Cultural Affairs, The Miami-Dade Office of Film and Entertainment, The Miami Downtown Development Authority, The Greater Miami Convention & Visitors Bureau, and FilMiami. The Miami Music Festival and Conference is also produced in cooperation with the Recording Academy, The Urban Network, and performing rights organizations ASCAP, BMI, and SoundExchange.

Musicians may submit showcase applications now through July 31 via Sonicbids or Broadjam - go to miamimusicfestival.org for more information.
