Hip Hop DX had it right when they crowned David E Beats with the coveted ?DX Next Title? in October 2009 featuring him as the next artist to watch in 2010. Beats has since lived up to his title and spent most of 2009/2010 performing at local NYC venues such as the legendary Kenny?s Castaways, headed out to a SXSW show for the Music Tech Mashup Showcase at the Rusty Spurs; and also headlined the DIY Bushwick Music Festival reinforcing him being at the forefront of this movement. Fresh off a performance at Santos Party House to a packed house, Beats added performing dates this month to his calendar with a series of promotional performances in New York and DC.

Additionally, Beats recently made his television debut on BET on May 7, 2010 when he was interviewed on the show ?The Deal?. His music is currently featured on an upcoming indie mini-documentary about Shepard Fairey. Beats also recently released a new video ?Over Here? which is making strides online with features on major Hip Hop outlets such as The Source.com, OnSmash.com and DJSemtex.com. The video made its impact receiving over 5, 000 views from countries as far as France and Japan!

David E Beats is working diligently to make his mark on the music scene. As a current unsigned artist, his work and drive will soon get him noticed and signed in a short amount of time.
