Jake is exploring a realm that is firmly rooted in the jazz idiom, but he is not shy to show his love for rock guitar. His explorations surface at any opportunity, enriching his palette of sounds.
Jake was the Grand Prize winner in the guitar competition at the 2006 Montreux Jazz Festival in Switzerland. In the festival's 44-year history, he holds the title at 20 years old as the youngest ever prize winner.

Victor Jones-Drums
Victor Jones got his start in Stan Getz's band and has since performed and recorded with Woody Shaw, Freddie Hubbard, Stanley Clarke, Michel Pettruciani, Dizzy Gillespie, Chaka Khan among others. One of the pioneers of 'acid jazz', Jones continues to lead his own group 'Culturversey', the current incarnation of which includes Jake Hertzog on guitar.
