New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ J. Bentley Official Website) - J. Bentley, born and raised in Richmond, VA.
A place I like to call the lost city. I refer to my home as this because Richmond is an untapped resource of talent. I started rapping at about 13 and joined my first group (C.O.I.) in 1999.
This is where I connected with my producer Choo the Specialist who has a couple of plaques on the wall for producing tracks for Ghostface Killa and Tupac.

We also had a member of the Wu Tang Clan from London feature on our album. I am now working on my dream and that is my own solo album. My influences growing up were Nas, AZ, and Kool G.
Rap and I had and still have love for the south listening to Outkast and Goodie Mob.
So I guess you can say I got some north and south flava. This is a just of the man they call J. Bentley.
Now work with music producer Jmusiz on a up and coming new single "Ready 4 Whatever" off the album soon to be release 2010.
