New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ RoadRunner Records) - Rob Zombie and ThePublicRecord.com are enlisting the talent of musicians and remixers all around the world for "The Mix Massacre". Fans and musicians alike are invited to send in killer remixes of two Rob Zombie songs from the new album HELLBILLY DELUXE 2, "Mars Needs Women" and "Sick Bubblegum." ThePublicRecord.com (TPR) is a new, interactive, music collaboration site that began as the personal pursuit of music industry pioneer, Scott Humphrey. Renowned for his work as an award-winning and record-breaking studio mixer and producer, Humphrey founded TPR as a solution to match the dynamic shifts of the web with the evolution of digital recording. Go here for more information on the submissions process.

In other news, Rob Zombie and longtime bandmates guitarist John 5, bassist Piggy D along with special guest drummer Joey Jordison (Slipknot/Murder Dolls) recently headlined the Revolver Golden Gods Awards with a slamming 4-song set at Los Angeles' Club Nokia on Thursday, April 8th. The full show will be broadcast on Saturday, May 22nd on VH1 Classic. Rob Zombie is currently on a co-headlining tour with Alice Cooper, which has already been selling out venues across Canada to rave reviews. The quartet will then hit the road for an extensive North American trek to co-headline this year's Mayhem Festival (visit: www.robzombie.com or www.myspace.com/robzombie or please see below for all tour dates).

With more than 15 million albums sold, 7 Grammy nominations, the helming of 5 major motion pictures and dozens of music videos under his belt, Rob Zombie is a force to be reckoned with in today's entertainment landscape. Zombie's unique meld of horror and hard rock has influenced his sound as a musician, and more recently his vision as a director and writer. Zombie's new album HELLBILLY DELUXE 2 debuted at No 8 on the Billboard Top 200 Album chart earlier this year.
