 NY (Top40 Charts) - Following a July slate of tour dates that included the band's annual concert at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre in Morrison, Colo., Blues Traveler will kick off the second leg of its summer tour Aug. 18 in Oneida, Wis. The run will find the band on the bill of a variety of festivals across the U.S. before it comes to a close Oct. 6 in Buffalo, N.Y. Touring in support of its latest Interscope album, "The Bridge," the John Popper-led band will play several dates with G. Love & Special Sauce, including Aug. 22 at in Vienna, Va., Aug. 26 in Gilford, N.H., Aug. 31 in Detroit, and Sept. 23 at the Spirit of the Suwanee Festival in Live Oak, Fla. The latter show will also feature former Grateful Dead guitarist Bob Weir's Ratdog on the bill. Other notable dates on the tour include an Aug. 25 morning performance on NBC's "Weekend Today" show, a Sept. 1 set as part of the Jazz Aspen festival in Snowmass, Colo.; and a Sept. 7 gig at Oklahoma State University with Sister Hazel and comedian David Spade. Released in May, "The Bridge" debuted at No. 91 on The Billboard 200. To coincide with the tour's second leg, Interscope will release album track "Back in the Day" as the second radio single from the set.
