LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Bad Taste Records) - After wrapping a trek across the border with Guns N' Roses, rock trioDanko Jones have announced they'll release their new album Below The Belt May 18 via Bad Taste Records/Caroline. Danko Jones will perform three shows next week at the Texas Rockfest Outdoor festival during SXSW. For the Texas Rockfest, the Toronto-based group will join Faster Pussycat, L.A. Guns, The Last Vegas, Broken Teeth and many more.

Following SXSW, the group will launch a U.S. tour supporting Clutch beginning Tuesday, March 30 and wrapping Thursday, April 18. In addition, Danko Jones will return to Los Angeles on Friday, March 26 for a one-night-only show at The Viper Room.
For the new album, the trio tapped Matt Dematteo to produce, resulting in 11 furious rock songs that highlight the band's electrifying mix of hard rock and punk with a classic metal twist.
