New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Clockenflap) - Two-piece bass and drum combo DP will be raising all mighty musical hell at the prestigious SXSW (South By South West) festival this March. Joining established stars such as Muse, Motorhead, Stone Temple Pilots and a host of up and coming future ones including The XX, Neon Indian, Crystal Antlers and hundreds of others, DP will be one of the first acts from Hong Kong to have ever graced the SXSW stage.

Taking place between March 17 - 21 in Austin, Texas, SXSW is the premier music, interactive and film showcase event in the world. DP will perform at the primetime slot of midnight on Sat 20th at BD Riley's.

The duo of Dave Wong (vocals, bass) and Paul MacLean (drums, mohawk) have been making waves in their Asian hometown rising quickly from 'ones to watch' to headlining and selling out clubs all over town. They were handpicked to represent HK at the inaugural One Movement Festival in Perth, along with festival appearances in Vietnam and of course HK. The two-piece have also supported international acts coming to the city including: The Secret Machines, You Say Party! We Say Die! & Ratatat.

Their debut, self-titled album is set for release later in the year, preceded by a 7' single for live favourite 'My Hyena' (on Metal Postcard Records) and video release (directed and produced by Regurgitator frontman Quan) this summer.
Catch DP at 12am, 20th March @ BD Rileys.
