New York (Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - The Lost Trailers, 2010 ACM Nominees for Top New Vocal Group, are juggling a massive tour opening for Tim McGraw and recording a new album, but this Atlanta quintet are also lending a hand to some charitable causes close to their hearts.

Lead singer Ryder Lee is encouraging fans to make a donation to The March of Dimes on his website. When Lee talks about the premature birth of his daughter, he breathes a sigh of relief saying, "She's doing great. We are among the lucky ones." It was this traumatic personal journey that inspired a new song "Angel" and Lee's dedication to serve The March of Dimes. Watch a PSA featuring "Angel" here .

Ryder will participate in the Murfreesboro, TN March for Babies on Sunday, April 25th and is setting a goal of raising $5,000 in donations. The Lost Trailers are also planning concerts to benefit the organization. In the meantime, fans can text the word "BABY" to 20222 to donate $5 or make a donation through https://bit.ly/cxrRCa.

In a recent tour stop in Reading, PA, bass player Drew Nielson invited a few U.S. Armed Service Veterans from the organization Team River Runner to sit in the front row and when he gave them a shout out mid show, the sold-out arena gave the soldiers a well deserved standing ovation.

Based out of Walter Reed Army Medical Center in Washington, D.C., Team River Runner is a non-profit that gives active duty and veteran service members an opportunity to find health, healing, and new challenges through whitewater boating. The benefits of TRR have as much to do with creating a social network and support system as they do with learning water sports skills that provide an exciting adventure lifestyle that suddenly seemed lost to many soldiersdue to injury. Nielson explains, "The rehabilitation of soldiers is important to us because many of our friends and fans in the Armed Forces have seen war throughout most of their adult lives. We are extremely proud of their service and it is important for us to spread awareness about organizations supporting our generation and future generations of war Veterans. Team River Runner is just one of these tremendous organizations." To donate or volunteer like Drew, go to https://www.teamriverrunner.org.
