 NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ The Network PR) - New York pop rockers, PaperDoll will play a special show on February 19th at the Mercury Lounge (8:30 PM). The band will play songs from their debut album Ballad Nerd Pop, produced by Nic Hard (The Bravery, Aberdeen City). This past year PaperDoll played dates on the Warped Tour as well as Indie Week Ireland (only American band selected) and an overseas run where they opened for Irish rockers, Director. Recently, the song "If Nothing Happened" was featured in a Vicks/Dayquil commercial. PaperDoll is female-fronted four piece from Brooklyn/Manhattan, described as 'Pat Benatar meets the Killers.' Featuring a opera-trained piano prodigy and a traditional Irish musician the band's incendiary live shows and nerdy rock pop are gathering them friends on both sides of the Atlantic PaperDoll: Teresa Lee (vocals/keyboard),Patrick Moloney (guitar), Steve Paelet bass), Chip Thomas (drums).
