LOS ANGELES (R. Kelly Fans Website) - Murder Inc. CEO Irv Gotti was scheduled to appear in court Tuesday facing charges of possession of a controlled substance. Gotti was arrested backstage at an R. Kelly concert in California Friday when his pockets were searched in a routine backstage security check. Ecstasy was allegedly found in his pocket as well as prescription Viagra tablets. Gotti was taken to Oakland's Alameda County jail and was later released on bail.

Gotti is currently under investigation for money laundering and fraud charges relating to his Murder Inc. label, home to Ja Rule and Ashanti. Murder Inc. is the self-proclaimed "Most Dangerous Record Label".
