New York, NY (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - 'In My Head,' the new single from 2009's breakout pop star Jason Derulo, is climbing the charts as the follow-up to the Miami-born artist's smash No. 1 debut single 'Whatcha Say.' With sales up by 27 percent this week, and more than 350,000 tracks sold, 'In My Head' is also making waves at Rhythm and Pop radio, while its accompanying video clip is among the 'Most Viewed' and 'Most Favorited' music videos and 'Overall' videos on YouTube, as well as the No. 1 music clip in the U.K., Australia, and New Zealand.

'In My Head' follows on the heels of the astonishing success of Derulo's debut single 'Whatcha Say,' which quickly climbed to No. 1 on Billboard's Rhythm and Pop charts and remained atop the Pop chart for four consecutive weeks, making Derulo one of two new artists who debuted in 2009 to go to No. 1 at both the Rhythm and Pop formats with a debut single. 'Whatcha Say,' which climbed to No. 2 on the iTunes singles chart, has sold four million copies worldwide, including three million in the U.S., and has been certified double-platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America.

Both 'Whatcha Say' and 'In My Head' will be featured on Derulo's upcoming debut album, which will be released by Beluga Heights/Warner Bros. Records on March 2nd, 2010. The album, which will fuse pop with Derulo's other musical influences, is produced by veteran songwriter and hitmaker J.R. Rotem, who has produced multi-platinum hits for Sean Kingston, Rihanna, Leona Lewis, Rick Ross, and Plies, among many others.

Discovered by Rotem and brought to Warner Bros. Records by Senior Vice President of A&R and American Idol judge Kara DioGuardi, Derulo is the first artist signed to WBR's joint venture with Beluga Heights.

Derulo has written songs for Lil Wayne, Sean Kingston, Pitbull, P. Diddy, Danity Kane, and Iyaz, with whom he co-wrote the No. 1 Pop single 'Replay,' which spent five weeks atop the Billboard Hot 100 chart, immediately following the four-week No. 1 run of 'Whatcha Say.' He has shared stages with T-Pain, Akon, and Mims. Last year he performed at such high-profile events as KIIS FM's Wango Tango and wowed audiences as the main support for Lady Gaga's red-hot 'Monster Ball' tour of North America.

A multiple threat as a singer, songwriter, dancer, and actor, Derulo will also make his feature film debut in MTV Films' Turn the Beat Around, which hits theaters on February 26th.
