NEW YORK (Lumidee UK Fans Website) - Lumidee - or, as some refer to her, the "Uh Oooh!" singer - is enjoying the success of her debut album Almost Famous, which features "Never Leave You." The song is climbing up the charts and currently sits at No 2 on Top40's World Airplay Top 100. Lumidee said that she's proud to write her own lyrics.
"Get the album, read the credits," Lumidee said. "I write all my songs, sing, you know. I write, record, sing all my songs. Come to the show, you'll see."

Bow Wow recently decided not to use Lumidee as the opener for his tour, and instead, opted to headline the shows by himself along with rising artists from his own label.

Meanwhile, in the U.K. Lumidee's "Never Leave You" is the second most dowloaded mobile phone ring tone. It's right behind the Blu Cantrell song "Breathe," which features Sean Paul.
