"Hasta Que El Dinero Nos Separe" (For Love or Money), is a romantic dramedy that follows the lives of two complete opposites who will have to stay together until "money do them part." Created by renowned producer Emilio Larrosa ("Mujer de Madera" and "Las V??as del Amor"), the novela's stellar cast is led by the talented singer/actor Pedro Fernandez ("Buscando el Para??so," "Alcanzar Una Estrella I and II") and the talented actress Itat?? Cantoral ("Sin Pecado Concebido" and "Mar??a la del Barrio").
Rafael Medina's (Pedro Fernandez) quiet life is suddenly turned upside-down when he causes an automobile accident that sends an innocent stranger, Alejandra (Cantoral), down a ravine and straight to the hospital. Incensed by the accident and all the money her medical treatment cost, Alejandra vows to make the culprit pay. However, instead of sending him to jail, Alejandra's fiancee (V??ctor Noriega) convinces her to go for the money instead.
Alejandra coerces Rafael to sign a legal document obligating him to pay her back for every penny she spent on her injuries. However, Rafael is a poor man, who has a mother and younger sister to support and whose life savings have just been stolen by his best friend.
Realizing she may not get her money back any time soon, Alejandra then decides to help Rafael get a job at the auto dealership she works for and help him become its top salesman. Rafael accepts and both of them vow to stay together until the debt has been paid. However, they soon begin to have feelings for each other and will be forced to make a difficult choice: to stay together for love... or money?
