J ROSS-PARRELLI has prided herself in being an active community member, teacher and contributor. Working with underprivileged youth she has spent countless hours teaching workshops showing the positive side of hip hop. "To Diva or not to Diva" shows the respectable side of women in the industry and "Emcees an egoless state" shows the difference between cockiness and confidence as well as how to develop your freestyle-self.
As well as workshops, J ROSS-PARRELLI will be embarking on a tour called "HOMELESS HEROES", focusing on our homeless veterans left out in the street. THe tour will focus on a variety of workshops, performances and interviews with homeless veterans which will be put in to a cross-country tour documentary to go hand in hand with Roadtrip Nation.
In 2009, J ROSS-PARRELLI has been pushing her musical career in the direction of Pop Music within R & B, Hip Hop and New Age genres. Working with North Carolina producer Sean Lane, J ROSS-PARRELLI has completed "Lov'n Mak'n Music" her debut full-length album. The album shows the versatility and creativity of the duo's five-month development process, yielding an album of amazing music that has recieved stellar reviews in it' period of limited release. With four "singles" to be released through this album, "Lov'n Mak'n Music" will be sure to reach high levels of success.
