LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Warner Bros. Records) - Legendary singer-songwriter Neil Young has been nominated for two 2010 Grammy Awards. 'Fork In the Road,' the title track from his current album, has been nominated for 'Best Solo Rock Vocal Performance.' In addition, Archives Vol. 1 (1963-1972) has been nominated for 'Best Boxed or Special Limited Edition Package.' Released on April 7th, Fork In The Road is an emotional response to the current social and ecological questions facing the world's population. Recorded in 2008 between tour dates, Young and his band were instantly sparked playing new songs like 'Johnny Magic,' 'Fuel Line,' 'Light a Candle' and others, roaring through the sessions at top speed.

On June 2nd, Young released his highly anticipated collection Archives Vol. 1 (1963-1972), the first of several in the Archives series of CD box sets that focus on the life of one of the most original artists of the rock era. The Chicago Sun-Times has said: 'Not only is it absolutely amazing, it quite possibly is a model for the only kind of recorded product that independent and chain stores alike will still be selling in the post-CD future.' Raved the Chicago Tribune: 'The Archives appears to be nothing less than revolutionary in how it will present an artist's back catalog.'

Young will be honored as the 2010 MusiCares Person of the Year at its 20th anniversary gala, to be held January 29th, 2010, during Grammy Week. The Grammy Awards will be handed out at the Staples Center in Los Angeles on January 31st, 2010. Tune in to the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards telecast, which airs that night on CBS at 8 p.m. ET/PT.
