First came John Lennon/Plastic Ono Band and then Imagine. The songs "Give Peace a Chance" and "Imagine" would create a worldwide movement. Then came "Happy Xmas (War is Over)." In 1973, Lennon released "Mind Games"; in September 1974, Walls and Bridges and the single "Whatever Gets You Thru the Night"; in 1975 "Rock 'n' Roll" was released, on April 18th 1975 Lennon made his last TV appearance performing "Imagine"; in October 1975, Lennon releases "Shaved Fish." It was in August 1980 when Lennon entered the Hit Factory recording studios in New York City, where he recorded the Double Fantasy album, and this tape was recorded the last night that he was ever in the studio with his band.
