DETROIT (Detroit News) - The Detroit News reports that Eminem will appear before a Michigan judge later this month. Marshall Mathers is expected to ask for the dismissal of a lawsuit against him filed by a former school-mate, DeAngelo Bailey. Bailey filed a defamation suit against Eminem for naming him as a bully in a rhyme on his " The Slim Shady LP". He's seeking $1 million (U.S.) over the song. Eminem now seeks a dismissal of the lawsuit, saying that the song is accurate, and that Bailey threatened and intimidated him in grade school. "I was harassed daily by this fat kid named DeAngelo Bailey," Eminem says in the song. "An eighth-grader who acted obnoxious everyday he'd shove me into lockers."
