LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ AirPlay Direct) - Guitar legend Steve Vai has released his concert film and live CD Where The Wild Things Are on Favored Nations Entertainment and is making it available digitally to broadcast media through AirPlay Direct.
"I watched the new DVD and was amazed by Steve's unbelievable talent and passion for his music. AirPlay Direct is thrilled to digitally service Steve's new music worldwide," said Scott Welch, President of AirPlay Direct.

The Where The Wild Things Are show was recorded and filmed at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, MN, before a sold-out audience as part of Vai's successful Sound Theories world tour. It is Vai's 21st solo project contributing to his 20,000,000 unit worldwide sales accumulated over his 30 year career.

Vai is widely known for both his unprecedented guitar playing techniques and the unique design of the instrument.
But his fans have become inextricably drawn to his melodic depth, and dynamic stage performance. The continued evolution of his craft is made apparent in the astonishing musicianship presented in Where the Wild Things Are.
