PITTSBURGH, PA. (Top40 Charts/ World Hunger Year) - The Clarks will bring their hometown of Pittsburgh some seasonal cheer and holiday rock, as the band announces two benefit concerts for December 26th & 27th. The shows, at The Altar Bar, will benefit WHY & The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank.
The Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank will have volunteers on site collecting canned goods as well as taking donations.
The Clarks - an 'American rock' band that has sold hundreds of thousands of CDs - continue to earn praise for 'Restless Days', their recently released, first studio CD in five years.

In addition to receiving extraordinary coverage in their hometown of Pittsburgh, The Clarks broke through with 'Restless Days', appearing in USA TODAY twice, earning their highest-ever Billboard chart debut, and seeing ALL MUSIC praise them with a four-star CD review that said 'this album is easily one of their best,' and compared them to 'Tom Petty crossed with the Smithereens.'

There are multiple ticket packages available for The Clarks' Holiday Benefit Concerts. Here is a breakdown:

- Tickets are now available online only via The Clarks Fan Ticketing Site (TCFTS - https://www.clarkstickets.musictoday.com/clarks/calendar.aspx), as well as at Dave's Music Mine and at the Altar Bar box office (during club business hours). Anyone who purchases tickets through TCFTS, for either of the shows, will receive a link to download a 5-song bonus EP (please allow two days for the link to arrive via email). This special EP contains three Clarks tunes as well as a song from each of the support acts.

- A discounted Two Day Show Pass is available via The Clarks Fan Ticketing Site.

- A limited number of 'Premium-Priced' WHY charity tickets are available, and when fans purchase WHY Premium tickets for December 26th & December 27th through TCFTS, they'll get these additional benefits:

December 26 WHY Premium Package - an invitation to a special soundcheck party, meet & greet with band members, passes to a VIP viewing area, and autographed Clarks CDs.

December 27 WHY Premium Package - an invitation to a special meet & greet backstage, where the band will perform a couple of songs acoustically, VIP viewing passes, and autographed Clarks CDs.
