NEW YORK (Limp Bizkit Fans Website) - Fred Durst is the second member of Limp Bizkit to injure his back within one week. Guitarist Mike Smith pinched a nerve during a one-off concert in New York last Wednesday. He was back on stage for the band's Summer Sanitarium gig in Maryland two days later in time to see Fred suffer a similar fate. The energetic frontman injured a vertebra in his back and is reportedly on prescribed pain medication. Neither injury is expected to affect upcoming Summer Sanitarium dates.

Limp Bizkit's new album is scheduled for release on September 8th, 2003. Meanwhile, the band has been previewing new tracks throughout the Summer Sanitarium tour.
