NEW YORK (Top40 Charts/ BFM Digital) - Popular New Jersey area performer, Joe Colledge releases new album, Out of the Blue,
September 29th, 2009, under OMS Records. The album is being distributed by BFM
Digital (https://www.bfmdigital.com), a leading digital music aggregator and distributor of independent music. Joe's previous release, Table for One, received much critical acclaim, earning him the "Best Male Vocalist" award from New Jersey's The Daily Record in the annual music issue, the "Best of Indie Award" from Jersey Joe Strelec's "Pick-to-Click" Podcast blog, and a "Top 5 Best CDs of 2007" title from popular music webzine, Kweevak.com.
Out of the Blue has a sound reminiscent of Tom Petty, Counting Crows, and Gin Blossoms, and features catchy songs like the rock-driven Waiting For Love, the autobiographical tale Story of My Life, title track ballad Out of the Blue, and a pleasingly rare cover of Three Dog Night's Shambala. Tracks from the album have already been signed on for film and TV placement, and can be heard on WDHA FM 105.5 (Jersey's Rock radio), and 90.3 FM The Core.
"I just want to write and produce great music that will touch as many people as possible - that is what drives me. I'll just continue to write and perform and see how far I can take things. It's been a great ride so far," Joe comments.
The album is now available for digital download across all major music services (iTunes, Amazon, Napter, etc), and can be heard on both satellite and online radio.
Joe will be playing a series of shows accompanied solely by keyboardist and backup/harmony singer, Jon Wohlgemuth to promote the album. Please see www.joecolledge.com for details.
