BURBANK, Calif. (Top40 Charts/ Hollywood Records) - Multi-platinum rock band BREAKING BENJAMIN (Ben Burnley, vocals/guitar; Aaron Fink, guitar; Mark James, bass; Chad Szeliga, drums) have completed their fourth album for Hollywood Records with long-time producer David Bendeth. The album, titled Dear Agony, is set to release on September 29th.

The first single, "I Will Not Bow," is Top 5 at rock radio, has scanned over 87,000 digital units in only 2 weeks and will be the featured song in Bruce Willis' upcoming action thriller, Surrogates, due out September 25th. The video which has garnered over 500,000 views was shot at the World Trade Center in NYC by director Rich Lee (Evanescence, All American Rejects) and features band performance as well as clips from the movie.

Dear Agony marks the third straight Breaking Benjamin/David Bendeth collaboration. The first two-2004's We Are Not Alone and 2006's Phobia-yielded spectacular results with each being certified Platinum. It also marks the first time that Burnley, the band's sole lyricist, collaborated with Jasen Rauch, guitarist of the Grammy-nominated band RED.

We Are Not Alone spawned a pair of No. 1 radio hits ("So Cold" and "Sooner Or Later") and sold 2.3 million units (albums and digital tracks). Phobia debuted at No. 2 on Billboard's Top 200, hit No. 1 on the Rock Album Chart and was one of the top 50 selling rock albums of 2006. It featured one No. 1 and two Top Five rock radio hits ("Breath," "Diary of Jane," and "Until The End") and sold 2.8 million units (albums and digital tracks).

The band, who have been off the road for the past two years, plan to announce their highly-anticipated Fall tour plans shortly.
