(Top40 Charts/ Shore Fire Media) - Bob Schneider admits to embellishing some of the specifics, but the startling bar fight that erupted in his local hangout was irresistible pop song fodder.

Listen to his song "Everybody's Doing It" off his forthcoming album 'Lovely Creatures,' out 9.29 on Kirtland Records, here: https://bit.ly/BobSEverybodysDoingIt

The "true" story behind "Everybody's Doing It" begins at Saxon Pub, a small club in Austin where Schneider's rabid hometown fan base flocks to see him play every Monday night. As Schneider details, Austin is "pretty laid back and not very dangerous, but one night some bikers came in [to Saxon Pub] and tore the place up and there was a brawl and people were really badly hurt. I guess that's what was the seed that grew into this song. Of course, it only hints at it in the first line: 'one night at the Green Dog/I guess somebody threw a punch/The next thing I knew there/were chairs flying everywhere.' I wasn't there. It's not called the Green Dog and most of the rest of the song is a lie is well. I'm a liar, what can I say."

Schneider's "truthiness"-infused music will be in top form at upcoming 'Lovely Creatures' release parties and performances plotted throughout Schneiderland (aka Texas) including Austin City Limits, where he will perform with one of his bands, The Scabs.
