LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Reprise Records) - Acetate Recording artists PRIMA DONNA have been selected by East Bay punk legends GREEN DAY as main support for their upcoming UK and Europe tour. The tour kicks off September 28 in Lisbon, Portugal and concludes November 12 in Turin, Italy, including dates in the U.K., Spain, France, Germany, Denmark, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Scotland, Ireland, Austria and Switzerland.

Racking up over 300 shows in their short existence, Prima Donna is known for their energetic live shows, wowing audiences across the US and Europe. Their 2008 debut release "After Hours" has been hailed as the second coming of 1970's glitter rock, ala New York Dolls and Mott the Hoople, with sharp, concise songwriting and sing along choruses.

Green Day has long been supporters of the Los Angeles-based Prima Donna - lead singer Kevin Preston moonlights in the Green Day alter-ego garage rock quintet Foxboro Hot Tubs.
