 CLEVELAND, OH. (Top40 Charts/ Oswald Companies) - Indie rock band Red Wanting Blue is coming to Ohio's North Coast to help launch United Way's annual campaign. The Columbus-based band will perform at West Sixth St.'s Barley House starting at 6 p.m. on Wed., Sept. 23. The concert will be opened by special guest Mike Genovese. The event is being sponsored by Oswald Companies, a risk management and insurance brokerage company based in Cleveland. A donation of $10 is being requested at the door as all proceeds will be donated to United Way's annual campaign. Red Wanting Blue released its seventh album, "These Magnificent Miles," last year without any major record label support. The band is playing venues throughout the Midwest where it has developed a tremendous grassroots following of loyal fans.
