NEW YORK (RnB magazine) - Lil' Kim has been left in tears after two of her trademark diamond necklaces were snatched from her luggage at an airport. The hip hop star was reportedly carrying more than $450,000 of custom-made jewels in a bag.
She planned to take the bag as hand luggage at New York' JFK Airport - but it got mixed up with her other cases and ended up in the plane's hold.

Lil' Kim, real name Kimberley Jones, only realised when she was in her first-class seat awaiting take-off to Los Angeles.
She raised the alarm and the flight was delayed while staff hunted down the bag. They found it had been ripped open and two huge necklaces worth 150,000 were missing.

One of the necklaces was her signature "Queen B" gold chain encrusted with diamonds - a symbol of her Queen Bee Records label.
The other stolen necklace was a chain of platinum dog tags filled with yellow diamonds. She had been due to wear the jewellery while performing at an Los Angeles awards ceremony.
