LOS ANGELES (Top40 Charts/ Ruthless Records) - Legendary imprint Ruthless Records return to the spotlight on October 27th, with the release of "Gazing At The Moonlight", the debut album from new artist, Hopsin.

Hailing out of California, critically acclaimed Hopsin, is a multi-talented rapper, producer, actor, and video director who is steadily climbing his way to the top of the rap game with his unique style and delivery. Wearing white contacts to show his other personality, his lyrical style distinguishes him from your every day run of the mill rapper, and landed him a record deal with Ruthless Records, the legendary label which launched 23 years ago and was once home to star artists such as Dr. Dre, Eazy E, Bone Thugs N Harmony, The D.O.C., as well as Will.I.Am and many more.

The first single taken from the album, titled "Pans In The Kitchen" was released last year, describing Hopsin's struggle with life and overcoming it via the hip-hop artform. His current single "I'm Here", released 3/17/09, tackles the state of hip-hop and the bubble gum artists who consume it, "It's a track that journeys into my mind and people get to see how I feel about the current state of the rap game. I'm also letting everyone know that I'm not gonna tolerate it." says Hopsin.

Hopsin however isn't just a rapper, but also actor. He has a guest appearance in the film "Fame" starring Kelsey Grammer and has made previous appearances in Disney's very publicized T.V. show That's So Raven. Hopsin being an actor as well as rapper has his own company aside from Ruthless called "Funk Volume" which is home to him and rapper Swizzz.

"Gazing At The Moonlight", the album, in stores October 27th.
